She was predeceased by: her parents, William Verlin and Martha Ettis Tucker Holder; her husband William Wayne Gentry; and her siblings, Fred Holder, Raymond Holder, Roger Holder, Quentin Holder, Phosie H. Cockerham, Bonnie H. Burchette and Betty H. Guyer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Reeves Holder of Elkin and Emily H. Southard of Elkin; her grandson Joshua Gentry (Kathryn); and her great grandchildren, Charlie Gentry, Reeves Gentry, Sophie Norris, Eli Norris, Jane Norris, Emma Weber, Max Weber, Evelina Weber, Daisy Johnson, Emmett Johnson, Theodore Johnson, Logan Norris and Archer Norris.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Charity United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Prichard officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Grassy Creek United Methodist Church, 145 Klondike Rd, State Road, NC 28676.
