He was predeceased by: his parent Vietta Karlsen Shaw; his brothers, John Pettit and Michael Shaw; and his great grandchild Julian Roop. He is survived by: his wife B. Diane Pettit; his daughters, Annet Byerly of Tucson, Kathleen Pettit of Apache Junction, AZ and Jade Byerly of Elkin; his grandchildren, Desiree Byerly of Tucson, AZ., Jory Byerly of Tucson, AZ., David Byerly-Nieto of Tucson, AZ. and Joseph Byerly-Nieto of Tucson, AZ.; and his siblings, Tim Shaw (Mary) of Tonawanda, NY and Rhoda Guarnere (Tina Noland) of Somers Point. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
