With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valeria Wood (Elkin, North Carolina), born in Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. Gaffney and Carey Stockton Gaffney. She is survived by: her husband Herman Wood; and her children, Ron Wood (Denise) of Florida, Teresa Reaves (John) of Pfafftown and Pam Lowerre of Wallburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
