She was predeceased by: her mother Peggy Joyner Moody; and her son-in-law Sheldon Eckrote. She is survived by: her father Don Roger of State Road; her daughter Hillary Renee Jones of Winston-Salem; her sisters, Joni Glover (Greg) of Elkin and Donna Burris (Bryan) of Whitsett; her former husband Bobby Jones of State Road; her nieces and nephews, Brittany, Drew Holbrook, Arch, Kelby, Amanda Phillips, Annie Phillips and Zachary Phillips; and her pet Tucker.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (199 Mining School Rd, State Rd, NC 28676). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery (199 Mining School Rd, State Rd, NC 28676).
