She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Landcaster Inman and Hazel Pauline Adams Inman; her husband Lee Thomas Shelton; and her grandsons, Joseph Paul Badgett and Paul Arlin Cave.

She is survived by: her children, Lynnette (Tim Badgett), Tonya (Mike Hulme) and Phillip Adam; her daughter-in-law Dena Cave; her grandchildren, Teara, Dustin Dilks, Jadia, Andrew Shelar, Preston, Emily Cave, Nora, Dustin Parks and Samson; her great grandchildren, Braelen Draughon, Dawson Draughon, Emmlyn Dilks, Payson Dilks, Ivy Shelar, Sidney Cave, Presley Cave and Everett Shelar; her siblings, Joan (Frank Peters), Fayne (William Fesperman), Alice Owens, Ronald (Janie Inman) and Jerry Inman; and also Frankie Kenard.
