She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Blaine Hanks and Roosevelt Phillips Hanks; her daughters, Betty R. Brown Satterlee of Elkin and Johnsie B. Brown (Joseph T. Brown, Jr.) of Fripp Island, SC; her grandchildren, Carrie Brown Canfield (Bryan) of Beaumont, TX and Joseph T. Brown III; and her great grandchildren, Caite Canfield, Ted L. Canfield II, Quincy Brown, Alden Brown, Rhys Brown and Knox Brown.
