She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald Everette Gambill; her stepdaughter Marie Gambill Johnson; her parents, John Clinton and Carrie Sparks Martin; and her siblings, Paul Martin, Sam Martin, Nora Lee Stewart Womble, May Rhyne, Reese Martin, Lloyd Martin, Lonnie Martin, Ralph Martin and Gwyn Martin.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Reginald Gambill (Joy) of Winston-Salem and Martin Neil Gambill (Sherri) of Shelby; and her grandchildren, Gregory Johnson (Sherry) of Gastonia, Melissa Johnson Lynch (Michael) of Gastonia, Garret Gambill (Lori) of Shelby, Tyler Gambill of Shelby, Tanner Gambill (Kayleigh) of Shelby, Macon Gambill of Carrboro and Katherine Gambill of Winston-Salem.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Elkin Valley Baptist Church, 118 N. Elkin Drive, Elkin, NC 28621.
