It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Bowers McGee of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Bowers and Hessie Handy Bowers; her granddaughter Mae McGee; her brother Sam Bowers; and her former husband Rob McGee.
She is survived by: her children, Ann McGee of Pilot Mountain, Randy McGee of Elkin, Darrell McGee (Liz) of State Road and Ken McGee (Ashley) of Harmony; and her brother Mack Bowers (Rita). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 688 North Bridge St., Elkin, NC 28621.
