She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Anderson and Roxie Nance Anderson; her husband Bill Harkey; her daughter Betty Jean Kuakenbush; and her siblings, Stella Hodge, Donald Anderson, Mack Anderson, Sherman Anderson and Bill Anderson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Anderson, Jr. (Alene) of Asheboro, Ann Woodruff of Elkin, Lorene Thompson of Mooresville and Lena Simendinger (Richard) of Jonesville; and her niece Patricia Woodruff Crouse of Dobson. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
