He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wood and Nancy Alice Wood; and his siblings, Bertha "Peanut" Wood and Claude Wood. He is survived by: his brothers, Johnny G. Wood (Helen Phillips) of Elkin and Grady Wood of Elkin; and his nieces and nephews, Sheila Sidden, Julie Mitchell, Joey Wood and Claudia Vanhoy. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
