He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Garland Swaim and Susan Sprinkle Swaim; and his brother Ronnie Swaim. He is survived by: his sister Cheryl Hinshaw (Phil) of Winston-Salem; his sister-in-law Wanda Swaim; his nieces and nephews, Angie Swaim of Pfafftown, Beth Recchio (Joey Matteo) of Winston-Salem, Todd Hinshaw (Mallie) of Sparta and Darrin Hinshaw of Winston-Salem; his great-nephews, Ryley Hinshaw, Nick Lawrence, Jonathan Murray and Bobby Murray; and his great-niece Samantha Murray.
