It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Freeman of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Charles Robert; and his daughter Kelly Freeman Greer. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Walls Freeman; his mother-in-law Mittie Walls of Elkin; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Spillman (Dana) of East Bend and Tommy Walls (Tina) of Elkin; his nieces, Andrea Wall (Eric) of East Bend and Dara Waddell (John) of East Bend; and his cousins, Rose Marie Harris of Tennessee and Sandy Swift Urback of Holly Ridge.
