He was predeceased by: his father Richard Earl Love, Sr.; his siblings, Amber Love and Jeff Brooks; his grandparents, O'Brien and Dorothy Hayes; his uncle O. D. Hayes; and his pet Maggie May.
He is survived by: his mother Mariam Hayes Brooks; his daughters, Carrie (Matt Osborne) and Charity Bandy of Boone; his sister Dorothy Bragg; his grandchildren, Branson Osborne, Levi Osborne and Wyatt Osborne; his aunts, Susie Hayes of Soddy Daisy, TN and Bonnie (Larry Tucker); and his girlfriend Maidron Combs of Elkin.
