He was predeceased by: his parents, Manley Martin and Lillie Dudley Martin; his son Claude Martin; his former wife Pauline Brooks Martin; and his grandson Jason Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Simmons Martin; and his children, Charles Martin (Louise) of Yadkinville, Gary Martin (Brenda) of Concord, Larry Martin of Elkin, Mickie Martin (Kay) of Elkin and Lynn Clonch (Keith) of Roaring River. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
