She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Carpenter and Lillie Bowles Carpenter; her husband Junior Paul Howard; her granddaughter April Howard; and her brother Wilburn Carpenter (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Gilliam (Don) of Suches, GA, Billy J. Howard (Karen) of Jonesville, Kenneth Howard (Nancy) of East Bend, Michael Howard (Jan) of East Bend and Ricky Howard (Beth) of State Road; her brother Andy Carpenter (Dianne) of Dobson; her sister-in-law Jewell Carpenter of Dobson; and her grandchildren, Chanda Canup, Daniel Gilliam, Michael Paul Howard, Sabrina Puckett, Jennifer Pruitt, Julie Peterson, Jessica Howard, Joshua Howard, Jessica Eturralde, Whitney Barker, Steven Howard, Tabatha Martin, Randy Howard, Dallas Daniels and Joseph Howard. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
