It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Nichols Ball of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Hardin Nichols and Ella Mae White Nichols; her son Roger Keith Stanley; the father of her children Roger W. Stanley; and her siblings, Betty Cave, Nettie Norman and Thomas Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie St (Steven) and Tony Stanley (Joyce); her grandchildren, Bryson St (Jesse), Zayley St. John, Crystal Poplin (Bryan) and Tiffany Stanley; and her brother Nicky Nichols (Cheryl). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville (5108 US-601, Yadkinville, NC 27055). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Cross Baptist Church (2034 Twin Oaks Rd, Elkin, NC 28621).
