Mittie Lou Walls Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mittie Lou Walls of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe "Sap" Wiles and Ila Hanes Wiles; her husband Thomas "Sonny" Walls, Jr.; her siblings, John Darrell Wiles and Carlene Wall; her son-in-law Rick Freeman; and her grandchildren, Kelly Denise Freeman, Mark Spillman and Matthew Spillman.

She is survived by: her children, Tommy "Tad" Walls (Tina), Kathy Spillman (Dana) and Joyce Ann Freeman; her grandchildren, Dara Waddell (John) and Andrea Wall (Eric); her great grandchildren, Brittany Anderson (Jacob), Peyton Wall, Kiersten Wall, Bryson Wall and Anna Waddell; her great great grandchildren, Brystol Anderson and Boone Anderson; and her cousin Steve Smith.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (593 Pleasant Hill Dr, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (593 Pleasant Hill Dr, Elkin, NC 28621).

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 593 Pleasant Hill Drive, Elkin, NC 28621 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
