He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Jacob and Betty Lou Link Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Chad Johnson of Elkin, Jacob Johnson of Elkin and Cody Johnson (Faith) of Texas; and his sister Sandra Russell of Dobson. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
