He is survived by: his daughters, Shyla Sayles and Haley Sayles; his brother Casey Sayles; his wife Dana; his sister Mary Snow; his brother-in-law Randell; his cousins, Tony Barnard (Lisa), Tommy Dapp (Kelly) and Mary Byrd (Kevin); and his close friend Sami Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcome, and donations can be made in Michael's memory to Novant Forsyth Cancer Center and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, organizations close to his heart.
