With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Holcomb Hinson (Elkin, North Carolina), who passed away on January 9, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Solomon and Edith Spicer Holcomb; her husband Carl Clair Hinson; her siblings, Jones Holcomb, Oakey Lee Holcomb, Cyrus Holcomb, Phyllis Holcomb and Estelle Holcomb; her children, Michael Hinson (Charlotte) of Burlington, Doug Hinson of Elkin, Kay Monday (Keith) of Boonville and Debbie Niblock (David) of Winston-Salem; her sister JoAnn Jahn of Fresno, CA; her grandchildren, Brandon Mangum (Nancy), Carla Alexander (Brian, Robbie Monday), Joshua Hinson, Jacob Hinson, Ethan Hinson (Lauren, Edith Hinson), Emily Niblock and Hank Niblock; and her stepgrandson Kirk Monday (Hesta). She was also cherished by 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
