We bid farewell to Mary Ellyn Humiston (Elkin, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 24, 2025 at the age of 64. Mary Ellyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Franklin Palmer, Jr. and Carolyn Lavonia Butterfield; her husband Thomas Humiston; her nephew Jeremiah Palmer; her mother-in-law Mary Humiston; and her brother-in-law James Humiston.
She is survived by: her siblings, David Palmer (Sue), Kevin Palmer (Tania) and Susan Fuller (Robert); her siblings-in-law, Craig Humiston, Ralph Humiston and Cheryl Humiston; her niece Sarah Palmer; and her pet Raven.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elkin Presbyterian Church (151 Hillcrest Dr, Elkin, NC 28621).
