Marie B. Norman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie B. Norman of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Vestie Viola Pardue Layell; her former husbands, Bryce Brown and William "Bill" Day; her siblings, Monroe Layell, Roby Layell, Frank Layell, J. W. Layell, Zeno Layell and Lola Hayes; and her grandson Byron Lee Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Wesley Gray Norman; her children, Butch Brown of Elkin and Tonia Spicer (Larry) of Elkin; her stepson Michael Gray Norman of Mooresville; her grandchildren, Charles Michael Brown, Shannon Marie Layell, Melissa Caudill, David Alan Royal and Bryce Jeremy Ward Jarvis; and her stepgrandchildren, Brooke Norman and Todd Norman. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
