She was predeceased by: her parents, Ossie Eddie Yarboro and Roxie Elizabeth Yarboro; her husband Coy Junior Johnson; her daughter Debra Colleen Johnson; her grandson Jonathan; and her siblings, Vanice Kennedy and Rev. Jerry Yarboro.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Johnson (Sherry) of Hamptonville and Darlene Childress of Yadkinville; and her siblings, Jimmy Yarboro (Carol) of Texas and Magdalene Horton of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
