She is survived by: her children, Rick Leonard (Reid Broadway) of Awendaw, David Leonard (Stephanie) of Elkin and Peggy Whitaker (Allen) of Elkin; her pet Max; her grandchildren, Matthew Leonard (Tiffany), Josh Whitaker, Melissa Whiteley (Phillip) and Michelle Wolfe; her great grandchildren, Madison, Megan Whiteley, Bailey, Tripp Leonard, Tyson and Uriah Whitaker; and her sister Brenda Dezarn of Winston Salem.
