It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Sue Blackburn (Elkin, North Carolina), who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Clyde Collins; and her nephew Rocco Ackerman. She is survived by: her mother Colene Calhoun Collins; her husband Tom Cirone; her daughters, Jamie Blackburn-Culler (Jamey) and Jenny Blackburn; her sister Lydia Ackerman; her grandchildren, Corey Adams (Caroline), AJ Holderfield (Josh) and Miriam Culler; her nieces, Robyn Regan (JJ) and Morgan Fisher (Hank); her uncle James "JC" Calhoun (Darlene); and her aunts, Louise Calhoun, Barbara Calhoun, Maggie Collins and Ann Pruitt. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and other dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Linda's honor to: American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
