She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Choate and Nellie Ayers Choate. She is survived by: her husband Donald Parks; her children, Robert Parks (Christa) of Elkin and Donna Evans (Tim Combs) of Glade Valley; her brother Dean Choate of Glade Valley; her grandchildren, Johnny Evans (Whitney), Joshua Evans (Kendra) and Jennifer Evans; and her great grandchildren, Nora Evans, Oliver Evans and Grant Evans.
