It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Lou Willey (Elkin, North Carolina), who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Vanoy and Grace Mae Hawks Mayes. She is survived by: her children, Donald Willey of Low Gap, Mike Willey (Carol) of Dobson, Danny Willey (Tammy) of Eden, Betty Edwards (Gordon) of Elkin and April Royall of Hamptonville; and her close friend Debbie Williams. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
