We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lela Elizabeth Holder McCaskill of Elkin, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Holder and Synester Flippin Holder (Sina); her husband Gary McCaskill; and her siblings, Verona Branscome and Walter Holder "Toe Head" (Karalyn Holder).
She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Cooke, Frances Hawks, Gail Holder, Gordon Holder (Dianne) and Jim Holder (Freda). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in honor of Mrs. McCaskill to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O. Box 325, Dobson, NC 27017.
