It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kermit Eugene Wood of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Bonnie Hayes Wood of Virginia; and his sister Lana Marie Brendle. He is survived by: his father Henry Franklin Wood of Elkin; his wife Mary B. Wood; his son Stephen Franklin Wood; his brother Terry Wood (Becky) of Jonesville; and his grandson Michael Jarrett Wood of King.
