With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ken McDaniel of Elkin, North Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ken McDaniel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Juanita Smith McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Kathie S. McDaniel; his son Kevin McDaniel (Kathy) of Pfafftown; his granddaughters, Katie McDaniel and Kylie McDaniel; and his sister Yvonne McDaniel of Rutherfordton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, PO Box 130, State Road, NC 28676.

“Kathie, We were deeply saddened to learn of Ken's passing. We heard from Wayne Langley, via FB a few days after Christmas. We were in Winston Salem on Dec. 2 and could have attended the service. Somehow, your address has been misplaced. Please get in touch. Our land line is 843 871 9551. We both have cells, but the house phone is best to reach us. We have such fond memories of y'all, Ken & Alice, and us, all newlyweds, enjoying life to the fullest! Prayers, Love, and blessings, Linda & "Moose".”
