He is survived by: his mother Susan Boyd Akbas of State Road; his siblings, Tommy Akbas, Linda Jo Shore (Shannon), Samantha Burton (James) and Alexis Akbas; his nieces, Brittany Shaw Hall, Savanna Shaw (Samantha), Chloe Shore, Abigail Burton, Anna Burton, Kyra Akbas and Areonna Akbas; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evie and Bowen; his aunt Frankie Boyd; and his pet GiGi.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elkin Funeral Service (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
