We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2020, at the age of 88, Joseph Stanley (Elkin, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alvin Stanley and Cora Reece Stanley; and his siblings, Junior Stanley, Spencer Stanley, Bobby Stanley and Carrie May Stanley Scott (Tennie).
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Coe Stanley; his son Joseph Daniel Stanley (Sandy); his grandchildren, Travis Scott Stanley, Keisha, Justin Daniel Stanley and Amber; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Ragan Stanley, Reeves and Maxwell Clyde Stanley; and his siblings, Jack Stanley, Dennis Stanley, Georgia Stanley Barnes, Helen Stanley Pratt and Nellie Stanley Hemric.
