He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hugh Nations and Ocie Hodges Nations; his wife Inez Fowler Nations; and his son-in-law Bobby Cave. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Nations Cave and Patricia; his son-in-law Donnie Chaffin; his grandchildren, Jason, Dixie Cave, Josh, Bobbi Cave, Jonathan Chaffin (Sydnye Lawson) and Justin Chaffin; his great grandchildren, Jordan Cave, Brian Cave, Jackson Cave, Ethan Cave and Hadley Cave; his sister JoAnn Wilmoth; and his pet Jennifer Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville.
