He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Isaac and Lillie Mae Flippin Creed; his grandson T. C. Simpson; and his siblings, Gladys Harvey, Mayola Posey, Stella Hardy and Curtis Creed.
He is survived by: his wife Carlene Evans Creed; his sons, Allen (Donna Creed) and David (Shelley Creed); his grandchildren, Jacob, Allison Creed, Jessica, Craig Cooper, Marshall, Candace Creed, Caleb and Sydney Creed; his great grandchildren, Cylan Cooper, Emerson Simpson, Case Creed of Graylyn Creed, T. C, Evan Cooper, Canaan Creed, Tyler Creed and Wylder Phillips; and his siblings, Jewel Coe, Lucy Fulk and Kenneth Creed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Park Baptist Church (1247 Park Dr, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pine Hill Church Cemetery (3968 NC-268, Ararat, NC 27007). Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Hill Church (3968 NC-268, Ararat, NC 27007).
