In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Kirk and Lucille Wilson Kirk; her husband Rocky Dapp; her brother David Kirk; her niece Melissa Renea Wishon; and her brother-in-law Gary Dalton.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Dalton; her close friend Roger Reece; and her stepmother Velma Pinnix Kirk. She is also survived by three nieces, four great nephews, three great nieces, two great-great nephews, and two great-great nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elkin Funeral Service (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
