He is survived by: his sisters, Joann Crater and Nancy Price; his niece Kimberly Lapsley; his sister Colleen Jones of Elkin; his nieces and nephews, Donna Sallee, Brad Darnell, Stacy Darnell, Bobby Jones, Mike Crater Chris, Gordon Jones and Mark Price; and his brother-in-law Joe Price. He is also survived by nephews; and six great-great nieces and nephews.
