He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Reece and Betty Mouncus Reece; and his siblings, Hazel Stanley, Barbara Ann Darnell, Elizabeth Reece, Charles Reece Jr. and Homer Reece.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Sue Reece; his son James Tony Reece; and his siblings, Ruth Phillips and Willie Reece.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church (9147 NC-268, Elkin, NC 28621).
