He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Burcham and Ada Key Burcham; his wife Nellie Caudle Burcham; his siblings, Jimmy Lee Burcham and Janet Burcham Wagoner; his children, Mark Wayne Burcham (Kristie) of State Road, Pamela Burcham McLean (Mike) of State Road and Kay Burcham Trivette (Larry) of Jonesville; his grandchildren, Faith Trivette, Lydia Burcham Haynes (Jeffery) and James Burcham; and his great grandchild Eleanor Haynes. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 1997 Pleasant Ridge Road, State Road, NC 28676.
