He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Gwyn B. Baugus and Stella Swaim Baugus; his wife Helen Johnson Baugus; and his sister Alma B. Collins. He is survived by: his children, Gay Nell Bauguess (June), Eddie Baugus (Patti), Wendell Baugus (Joy) and Bonnie Hawks (Tony); his grandchildren, William Baugus, Jonathan Baugus (Mandy), Jeff Baugus (Jennifer), Eric Baugus (Shannon), Nathan Bauguess (Missy), Shawn Bauguess (Jen), Darrell Hawks (Alexandra) and Zoey Hawks; his great grandchildren, Kayla Baugus, Dillon Baugus, Star Baugus, Tyler Baugus, John Baugus, Ethan Bauguess and Stella Bauguess; and his niece Martha C. Bryant (Mike).
