He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Noah Combs and Josie Stoneman Combs; and his sisters, Mary Ruth Lundy and Peggy Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Reva Combs; his son Greg Combs (Elizabeth) of Cornelius; his grandchildren, Noah Combs of Raleigh and Mary Elizabeth Combs; and his siblings, Kenneth Combs of Winston-Salem, Muriel Burnette of Galax, VA, Jo Ann Hale and Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Elkin (340 Hawthorne Rd, Elkin, NC 28621). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
