We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2021, at the age of 70, Ellen Hillyer (Elkin, North Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Redfern and Ruth Redfern. She is survived by: her husband Bob Hillyer; and her children, Ashley Gibbon, Ryan Hillyer and Courtney Opalacz. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to their local public library.
