She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Wayne Sprinkle and Ted Nelson; her children, Larry Sprinkle and Brenda Crabb; and her brothers, Ancil Gentry, Stancil Gentry, Pervis Gentry, Spurgeon Gentry and Martin Gentry.
She is survived by: her son Mack Sprinkle (Tina) of North Wilkesboro; her sister Velna Tilley of Elkin; and her grandchildren, Randy Crabb (Mandy), Michele Russell (Lewis) and Chad Sprinkle (Susan). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and several stepchildren, stepgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
