With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Bauguess Duncan of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bauguess and Verna Ingool Bauguess; her husband Roy Duncan; and her siblings, Arvin Bauguess, Jim Bauguess, Clyde Bauguess, Vaughn Bauguess, Fred Bauguess, Bobby Bauguess, Charles Bauguess and Selma Golden.
She is survived by: her sons, Leroy Duncan and John Duncan (Teresa); her siblings, Zeno Bauguess, John "June" Bauguess, Jr. (Gay Nell) and Patsy Dudley; her grandchildren, Jason Duncan, Trent Duncan (Liz) and Jarel Duncan (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Luke, Iris and Elise.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Little Elkin Baptist Church Building Fund, 1161 Little Elkin Church Rd, Ronda, NC 28670.
