He was predeceased by: his nephew Jeremy Darnell. He is survived by: his parents, Bill Luffman and Nelda Carter Luffman; his fiancée Donna Watson of Elkin; his siblings, Patricia Darnell (Edward) of State Road and David Luffman (Patsy) of Bristol, VA.; his nieces and nephews, Keely Tharpe (John), Travis Luffman and Heather White (Michael); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel Tharpe, Taylor Key (Jordan), Matthew Tharpe, Anna Darnell, Rocco White, Teddy White and Junior Brown.
