We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2020, at the age of 78, Donald Clyde Poplin of Elkin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clyde and Hazel Blevins Poplin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Poplin (McBride); his children, Lisa Barnette (Joey) of Southport, Donnie Poplin and Beth Poplin of Elkin; his grandchildren, Brittany Long (Bruce) of Southport, Eric Murdaugh of Lake Worth, Andrew Darnell of Charlotte, Samuel and Sarah Darnell of Elkin; his great grandchildren, Lexie, Michael and Caleb Long of Southport; his sister Mary Chappell (Tommy) of Elkin; and his sister-in-law JoAnn McBride.
