David Alan Royal Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alan Royal (Elkin, North Carolina), who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent J. C. Royal; his grandparents, Marie Norman, Bryce Brown, Herman and Nonnie Royal; his stepmother Wilda Norma; and his father-in-law Ira Grant Cothren.
He is survived by: his mother Tonia Brown Spicer (Larry) of Elkin; his wife Lisa Cothren Royal; his brothers, Jay Jarvis (Michelle) of Elkin and Andy Spicer of State Road; and his mother-in-law Shirley Cothren Grubbs (Stephen) of Cana, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
