He was predeceased by: his father John Cox Jr.. He is survived by: his son Christopher Tate of Randleman; his siblings, Mark Cox (Donna) of Greensboro, Larry Davis of Waco, TX, Jack Harper (Debbie) of Monticello, IL, Tema Church (Dan) of State Road and Judy Hennessey; his niece Mandy Dellinger; and his nephew Danny Church.
