It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chloe Johnson (Elkin, North Carolina), who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Anthony (Clyde) of Roswell and Hilda Combs (Stan) of Elkin; her sister Carolyn Strunk of Louisville; her grandchildren, Neal Anthony (Eve) of Athens and Michelle Balachowski (Brian) of Marietta; and her great grandchildren, Lily Anthony, Tyler Balachowski and Anslee Balachowski. She is also survived by her husband, Rev. Joel Grant Johnson; four brothers; and two sisters.
