He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kwok Chu and Martha Sue Pendry Sebastian. He is survived by: his parents, Dr. Lam S. Chu and Cynthia Sebastian Chu; his brother Adam Sebastian Chu; his grandparents, Ken, Kay Sebastian of Moravian Falls and Toyye Chu of Charlotte; his uncles, Mon Chu (Yongna) of Charlotte, Henry Chu (Deming) of Wilmington, Kenny Sebastian (Amy) of Boomer and Wing Chu (Mai Nguyen) of Fort Mill, SC; his aunt Sue Schmitt (Paul) of Princeton, MA; and his cousins, Dr. Michael Schmitt (Kelly) of Mooresville and Michael Chu of Cary.
