It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby James Holbrook of Elkin, North Carolina, born in Traphill, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calloway Hobrook and Flossie Casey Holbrook; and his siblings, Carl Holbrook, Claude Holbrook, Lundy Holbrook, Clyde Holbrook, Muriel Stout, Mazie Campbell and Pansy Waddell.
He is survived by: his pet Skipper; his wife Rita Dotson Holbrook; his daughters, Debbie Casstevens of Elkin and Brenda Wilcox (Bill "BJ") of Elkin; his grandchildren, Kayla Wilcox and Austin Wilcox of Elkin; and his siblings, Barbara Sellers (Michael) of Thurmond and Mack Holbrook (Bev) of Colora, MD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017.
